I have never colored my hair, so have no experience or advice in that area. But, I do think layers always help! I have been trying to grow my hair out, too. It's taking a long time, because I keep getting frustrated with that in between stage and chopping it off again! I'm trying to stick it out this time! Hang in there, beautiful girl.

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you!Kelly @ Sufficient Grace Ministrieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11182310611088290551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803597399589309198.post-2691422343633972042010-12-18T21:19:43.887-06:002010-12-18T21:19:43.887-06:00i like the shorter style - the picture you showed ...i like the shorter style - the picture you showed of the girl half way through the post... except i'd recommend some red / copper tones if you want to do color. i think that color would look great on you!The Rodgers Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11635180658564655122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803597399589309198.post-66581601047817162532010-12-18T20:28:03.071-06:002010-12-18T20:28:03.071-06:00I have gotten to trust my stylist so much I let he...I have gotten to trust my stylist so much I let her do what she wants.
I think I look great after a haircut.
Today she cut it into a pixie cut.
Imagine a 49er with a pixie.
My hair is salt/pepper...more salt than pepper.
My hair used to be thick and now is much thinner and drier.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17108516587512383397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803597399589309198.post-86923822193146390322010-12-18T18:21:48.129-06:002010-12-18T18:21:48.129-06:00I like the darker color also. I don't cut hair, I ...I work in a beauty shop. I don't cut hair, I work in the bill pay center that is there. I see such cute cuts all the time. I was listening to a conversation between the stylist and a lady in her chair the other day and the lady in the chair was saying that she didn't believe after a certain age that women should have longer hair styles. The stylist said that she had fixed longer cuts on women of "maturity" and that they all looked great. The lady in the chair was adamant! I too, think that older women (I'm there myself) can and do look great in longer hair styles. I say if you can carry it off, do it! For several years I grew my bangs out, and in the last couple of months I've had them cut back in. I change pretty often myself. I love long hair... and if I had thicker, healthier hair, that's the route I would go too! I say go for what you want! Maybe have a consult with someone who knows what they are doing and ask them what style would look best with your hair color and face shape. Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803597399589309198.post-38810860351489173122010-12-16T21:10:20.572-06:002010-12-16T21:10:20.572-06:00LOVE those styles! I love my long hair but there are times when I just want to chop it off because, like you said, it's so much easier! I think whatever you decided will look great regardless!!Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17885789085232631315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803597399589309198.post-5684688623192067342010-12-16T16:14:58.773-06:002010-12-16T16:14:58.773-06:00Great styles! Long hair does take more work but it's also nice to change it up once in a while! If you're up to it I say go for it!Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15431384515813384025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2803597399589309198.post-5176026694049770222010-12-16T15:10:27.449-06:002010-12-16T15:10:27.449-06:00I love all those styles too. I totally understand...I love all those styles too. I totally understand about wanting to go lighter so you don't have to color it so much. I am getting to that point now. I have to do mine almost every month too, because when it's dark, those gray hairs just really stick out. And my gray hairs for some reason stand straight up! Ugh! :D I think you look beautiful with short and long hair, so really it's just what you like best. I enjoy short hair more because I feel like it's quicker to do, but I do like the look of long hair. I am needing to cut mine too. I got a straight across bob last time and I really need some layers or something! And tonight guess what is on my agenda.....coloring my hair! My husband really likes long hair, but I was wanting to chop it off. Now, I want it longer and would love to do some soft curls like a lot of people are doing. But I don't know that I can pull it off. . . . It would look great with your facial structure! I can't wait to see what you end up with.
