These are my six words for "Six Word Saturday"

This is my daughter Lynnette Kraft...and this is her new book that just came out!
(She is excited...can you tell?) (:>)

There is a time for every purpose under heaven!

This lovely little girl, Anna, touched our lives in such wonderful ways!

God had a plan and a purpose for her life!

This man, 911 Dispatcher,Courtney Becker's life was forever changed by Anna's story!

This book is his story written alongside Anna's story, and it is amazing!
Our daughter Lynnette tells it so well in this wonderful book...and Courtney does too. Only God could have put these two together to bring this awesome book into being. It is a story you won't want to miss!

Wind At My Back

I have recently discovered a delightful cable TV series called Wind At My Back, that was filmed in Canada in the late 1990's and early 2000's. It is about a small mining town called New Bedford, and about a wealthy widow named May Bailey, the owner of the mine, and all about her family and friends, and the towns people.

I think there were 5 seasons...but I had never heard of the series until recently. I used to love Avonlea which was filmed by the same company...Sullivan Entertainment....who also brought us Anne of Green Gables. The style of music is similar to what you heard playing in the background in Anne of Green Gables and Road to Avonlea. This series has the same family values, and can be watched by the entire family. I record all of the re-runs which come on several times a week, and then I watch them at my leisure when I can't find anything else worth watching.

If they are available from your service, I highly recommend this series. It has also been called the Canadian version of "The Waltons".

Wind At My Back is the successor to the very popular Road To Avonlea series. It chronicles the struggles of the Bailey family which was torn apart by the harsh economic times of the Great Depression of the 1930's. The lives of the Baileys are the backdrop for stories of family bonds and the poignancy of love; sometimes funny and awkward, sometimes haunting, sometimes full of pain.
