I Love Little Babies So Much!

Describe your life in six words and click the button above to join in the fun!

Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved babies. I love holding them and looking into their sweet little faces. I think of God each time I see a newborn, and I consider them one of God's best miracles!

Once upon a time I had three baby girls...and each one of them grew up and became a woman with children of their own.

The baby in this picture is my good friend's new granddaughter Kylie. I couldn't wait to go to the hospital to see her and to hold her in my arms.

Over the years I have had 14 grandbabies. Three of them went to be with Jesus as newborns and a 6 yr. old and now they live with Him in Heaven. I am just sure that the Lord will let me hold babies in heaven. (At least I imagine that when I am thinking about the splendors of heaven) He did say..."of such is the kingdom of heaven" ya know!

Our oldest grandson is going to be 20 this year and so in a few years I could be holding great-grandbabies in my arms! God is so amazing...and he gave us all things "richly to enjoy" while we are on this earth. One of my greatest pleasures is holding babies! I thank God for them.

Thanks Veronica! I sure wish we did live close to each other. I'd love to hold sweet Alivia.

If we ever get to California again I may just have to come and see you and the girls.

(Remember...John has a cousin in your town!)

I love holding babies. Some of my favorite times to hold them is when they're newborn, and they just fit snugly into your arms, or when they're around 7mo. and they're asleep, and they cuddle into you. It's just precious.

Also, when they're around seven months, they get pretty fun. I love just being able to play with my little brother, Sam, and make him laugh.

Have a lovely Friday, Linda!

Haha! I liked Veronica's comment! The older I get, the more I love babies and wish I could have tons more. LOL! I think I'm going to make a great grandmother when I get older, many many years from now. Ha!

I work in a restaurant where on somedays there are a great number of little tiny ones. It's hard to resist the urge to have another - Hubby says thank goodness we took care of that when we had our 4th child...can't wait to see my grandbabies too! Have a great week!

Abigail and I read this together the other day and were like, Uh huh, that's Grams! I love that you love babies... babies love you too. :)

You've been blessed to hold a boat load - hopefully more to come - at least from grandkids - since your daughter is getting old! Ugh. :(

I'm with you, sweet Linda! Love holding babies...and I agree that you will be able to hold your grandbabies in heaven, too. What a glorious day that will be!! I like to think of my mother doing just that...holding her grandbabies in heaven...until I get there. Then she'll have to share!! My mama loved babies, too!!

Linda...

I so appreciate your visit and comment on my blog today. Now, as I've visited your beautiful place I read of your 14 grandchildren (that is never going to happen for me...that would be 7 kids each for my two children) and how several are in heaven.

Reading of Ana going to heaven at only 6 bolted me up out of my chair. All the MORE reason to be grateful, thankful for each new day and I God's amazing gifts to us.

I got a call from our Miss K's daddy today commenting on my post. He's a softie and it had him in tears as well.

Thank you for visiting again and for your sweet words. They mean so much.

Pray for me today...I'm feeling a bit down.

Who doesn't love babies! That picture is so beautiful of you. You have a pretty smile!

Sorry for all the losses in your family these past few years!

Just wanted you to know, that I played the hymn on Sunday during the offertory and the Pastor had to ask me the name of it when I was done. So sad.

Enjoy your day!
