Six Word Saturday: Let The Christmas Wrapping Chaos Begin!

Six Word Saturday: Let The Christmas Wrapping Chaos Begin!!!

I have Christmas shopped online quite a lot this year, and as the boxes began arriving I stacked them in a spare bedroom. I knew I should get busy and wrap them when they arrived, but I just wasn't motivated. So the pile of boxes grew and grew.

Tomorrow we are having out of town guests overnight and so I knew I had to start wrapping those presents and get that room in order. I started yesterday and got quite a lot done, but the room is still in chaos and I am only about half way done!

When you have 11 grandkids there are quite a few presents to wrap. Yikes...I had better get off this computer and get going again.

Oh, and guess what? I found a couple of more pieces for my Nativity...a shepherd and a donkey! I am excited!!!

This guy in red is My Santa! ((smile))

Have a good Saturday!

Know the feeling. I finished my shopping yesterday all in 1 day nad now have it all wrapped. i want to get it under the tree like I always do but dont want the little ones in it and want them to know "Santa" brings them. So, hidden they will stay till the 24.
Since my birthday is the Dec 25 I want to go to the movies with just hubby and me, so we will see. you have a great Christmas and a Happy new Year.

Well that sounds like me but since I thought I had it all done til I picked up a few last items I might try to finish them tonite. For the most part everything is wrapped and hid. We thought my hubby would have to take sometime off and I shopped early so got things wrapped. Praise God he is still working.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas as we say Happy Birthday to Jesus. All the best in 2010 my friend.

I wrapped a few myself this morning. But, now have to finish that baby quilt so I can wrap it also.

I will never have as many grandchildren as you do, but am looking forward to starting with one very soon.:)

Can you come wrap mine while you're at it? lol That's awesome that you found some more pieces!! Hopefully you can find a couple more!

And tell Santa that I'd like a new camera for Christmas. ;) I've been a good girl.

I actually have been wrapping piece by piece when everything comes in, or when I buy it! Good luck finishing everything up!!

I love wrapping presents. Usually to keep myself organized {as much as possible} I wrap them as I bring them into the house.

I know.......not good for keeping track of what I already bought....but then Ms. Sneaky can't see what I got either. hehe

Your nativity is lovely! I'm still waiting for half of my gifts to arrive so I can wrap them. Good thing I don't mind doing it. Plus, gift bags!

Thanks for playing 6WS!

Yay for finding some more nativity pieces! I am so behind on wrapping!! I'll be like you the next few days, furiously wrapping, as I lock my kids out of my room so I can wrap their presents. LOL! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday tomorrow!

I wish I still loved wrapping presents like I did when I was a kid...now it is just a bit of a chore, but very satisfying when it is all done.

Sounds like you have a lot of wrapping to do! And a lot of happy people who are going to receive the presents! The shepherd and donkey look great with your nativity. Enjoy your company and your week!
