If Joseph and Mary had Facebook!

My husband's cousin Joe, posted this neat video on Facebook this morning and oh my goodness it REALLY touched me! I have been a Christian for a very long time...and yet watching this just touched my heart anew this morning with the story of Christ's birth.

They were just people like you and me. A couple who were about to start their life together....and then Mary became a vessel of God, and everything in their world changed! This video made it seem as though it were happening in today's world. Can you imagine what people would think...and say today if you were Mary or Joseph telling them this story?!!! It makes you imagine what it was really like for them.

When you watch this I think it will just bring a different look at the birth of our Lord. Like you are seeing it in a whole new light. If people relate to Facebook...like all of us do...this may just make sense to them all of a sudden! So share it with all of your friends and family by posting it on your Facebook wall....or on your blogs.

Thanks!

(For some reason I couldn't get it to load properly so follow the link below. After you watch it, come back and tell me how you liked it.)

Highlight the link and then right click, and click on open link to watch the video.

I've seen this before! It is amazing! And yes, it makes you realize that they were people just like us and not these "holy" people that we tend to think! Hope you have a nice weekend!

WOW thanks for sharing that left me speachless. I loved how so many folks unfriended Joseph. That really hit me hard.

I passed it on . . .

Howdy Linda!
It's neat! I saw this last year and can't believe how fast the year has gone. I love Christmas time and I think I'm finally ready for some snow.

The facebook of the Christmas Story hits home. It made me feel somber.

Have a sweet day and God Bless!
