These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites...when the bee stings...when I'm feeling sad~~~
I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so bad!!!!~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Do you remember that song? I think I learned it when I was in the fourth grade and I used to sing it all the time.
In actuality those aren't my favorite things at all. Here is a list of some Truthful Tidbits...and bits and pieces of my life...favorite things that I enjoy!:
Springtime~~~ when I can sit and listen to the birdies sing
Autumn~~~ when I can see all of the trees changing colors
Beaches~~~ where I can sit and watch the waves roll back and forth, and listen to the sound of the waves crashing to the shore
Roses~~~ in a vase on my table, especially when they smell delightful
Tulips~~~ as they push up from the ground and quickly grow and bloom, and then humbly bow
Fluffy white clouds~~~ in a bright blue sky
And some other things I consider to be high on my list are:
Blogging~~~ posting, reading, and commenting
Reading~~~ Christian fiction, and historical romances, as well as biographies and true stories
Writing poetry~~~ usually first thing in the morning, when a title and the first few lines run through my mind
Listening to Music~~~ especially when I am alone in my car taking a drive
Good Movies~~~ when I am on a date with my husband, or on a DVD at home
Decorating~~~ I love to decorate...and re-decorate
Antiquing~~~ especially while on trips with my husband
Make up and Lipstick
Pretty clothes~~~ I especially like to accessorize with pretty jewelry and scarves
Curio Cabinets~~~ that hold all the little bits and pieces...and souvenirs of my life

Just thought I'd post this on Six Word Saturday today as I remember some of my favorite things in this life. Of course the PEOPLE in my life are the most important to me...but as far as the things and happy times go, I have created a partial list here. There are so many I would be here all day listing them!
