Hogeland Cousins Reunion

We had a fun 4th of July, because we spent it in my Husband's Hometown at a Cousins Reunion!

John and I headed out on Tuesday

We enjoyed our road trip

We got to the reunion early in the afternoon, and checked in. We only do this every 4 years, so it is fun to see the cousins and their families. Everyone talks and talks and tries to catch up. There is lots of food and fun.

Please watch the video below and see some of the parade that the cousins rode in, and our get together at the country club/golf course. We really enjoyed it all.
You can watch it full screen to see the groups better.

Lotsa Fun Was Had By All!

These are my Six Words!

How was your 4th of July? I hope y'all had fun!
Love, Linda

It look like a great time and a fun way to spend the holiday. It has been about 5 years since my family (that is cousins, aunts and ucncles, etc) had a reunion like that. I think it is about time for us to plan one.

how fun.... I come from a very large family and it would be great if we did something like that!!!
Instead all of our get togethers are usually for 50-80 people... and that's not the whole family....

Thanks for stopping by my 6WS -- yes, Texas is hot. But it's usual for us! (Unfortunately!)

I grew up in the Midwest, so the long hot summers here in South Texas aren't very fun. :/

Have a great Saturday!

What a fun reunion.
I loved that fellows "Patriot shirt" with the Flag and Statue of Liberty. Really nice.
The parade was neat.

Sounds like a great reunion and lots of quality time spent.

I remember attending a HUGE family reunion when I was about 15 - there were roughly 500 people in one room all related, that's a little weird.

Sounds like a GREAT time! My hubby teases me that my family has a reunion ALL the time, because I come from a very large extended family who happens to mostly all live in the same state. Every holiday is a guarantee for a large family gathering - and I just LOVE it! :)

Looks like you had a good time and looked warm. We didn't do much. Went to a breakfast at a park in town and had a good time talking with people. Watched fireworks on tv. Went to work the next day. Oh, made my world famous potato salad, as my hubby calls it. Have a great week. I liked you video. I should try that some time!
