God's Colorful Creations

I added this winter scene here at the top of my post because I thought it was so beautiful. It reminds me that God changes the seasons of this world, and also the seasons of our lives. Sometimes we are in the dead cold of winter,...yet there is such beauty to be found! Each season has it's beauty and it's blessings. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

This bright and cheerful bouquet of flowers makes me feel happy!

This beautiful display of God's handiwork makes me feel worshipful!

This blue butterfly atop this colorful plant makes me feel in awe of my Creator!

The soft hues in this plant makes me think O God's tenderness!

The vivid colors in this unusual plant makes me think of God's uniqueness!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8

And while we are thinking on beautiful things,...
I would like to thank my friend Veronica for honoring me with the Honest Scrap Award. She gave it to some of her special blogging friends who she thought write honestly and from their hearts. Hop on over to her colorful blog and read some fun things about her, and click on her friends sites too and read about them. I Love You Veronica!!!

Have a bright and cheerful day,...think of your Creator and worship Him!

I have added a song that I love, to help you sing praises to our Creator. My friend Yvonne sent it to me today and I thought I should share it with you.

All creatures of our God and King,

Lift up your voice and with us sing

Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou burning sun with golden beam,

Thou silver moon with softer gleam!

O praise Him! O praise Him!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou rushing wind that art so strong,

Ye clouds that sail in heav'n along,

O praise Him! Alleluia!

Thou rising morn, in praise rejoice,

Ye lights of evening, find your voice!

O praise Him! O praise Him!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

And all ye men of tender heart,

Forgiving others, take your part,

O sing ye! Alleluia!

Ye who long pain and sorrow bear,

Praise God and on Him cast your care!

O praise Him! O praise Him!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Let all things their Creator bless,

And worship him in humbleness,

O praise Him! Alleluia!

Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,

And praise the Spirit, Three in One!

O praise Him! O praise Him!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Regarding your comment..yes you can use my"no awards" image I have on my sidebar. I just did a google search and found it. I tried to find out who made it but so many people were using it I couldn't tell where it came from.

Oh, Linda, these are simply breathtaking! Thank you for sharing!

Sometimes pics like these make me ache inside with a sadness i don't understand. I think it is a longing within me (& each of us who choose to own it) for heaven. Homesickness. As this world is something of a shadow of that to come, just think how vivid it will be!

I also love the pic at the top of your next blog. I've always loved roads with trees like this. There is a road near my Granddad's farm that the branches meet overhead so that it is dark, dark under the canopy.

Hope you're having a lovely week! :)
