~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. What movie could you watch over and over again and not get tired of?
Can't pick just one...I love romantic comedies and I don't ever get tired of watching happy endings! I wish I could have a special DVD just filled with happy endings from all of my favorite movies...that would be great! And comedies make me laugh and that is good for your soul! (:>)
2. What is your biggest pet peeve right now?
Oh life is full of little pet peeves...like when you sit down on the toilet and there is no tissue on the roll. Or when you get in line at the store and suddenly the cashier needs a price check and it takes forever! But I don't like it when water is standing in the dishes when I am unloading the dishwasher from the top rack...it's silly I know...but I always say that is my pet peeve. Cuz I have to dry them before I put them away. Sheesh!
3. If you had to describe your best friend in five words or less, what would you say?
Five words to describe my best friend...Sweet, Caring, Giving, Christian, Faithful! (My very best friend on earth is my husband...but these words also apply to my BFF girlfriend.
4. If you did not have to worry about money, or go to school, what would you do for a living?
Home decorator...I love decorating! I love Hobby Lobby, Kirklands, Furniture stores, and antique shops. I am always watching HGTV for ideas...decorating shows are my favorite! It would be fun to get paid for doing something ya love!
5. What is your one splurge item that you will always buy no matter the cost?
Media...I enjoy my DVD's and my CD's...and when I buy them I do always feel like I'm splurging. I could add books to that, but I get most of those from my wonderful Library. I love to slip my CD's in and go for a ride listening to music. And yes, I sing along when I am all alone. (:>) (I also splurge on jewelry to go with every outfit...I'm a jewelry junkie!)
Loved reading these! That is my pet peeve too! We had to get a new dishwasher and it never dries the top rack and so I just sit them on a towel on the counter and let them dry. I hate the extra step. I love when I'm by myself in the car and can sing along to my music too :) Hope you have a great weekend!!!
Enjoyed reading your post...I could use some of your decorating sense right now, for we are getting our house ready to be put on the market. Living in a house and showing a house are too completely different styles. Enjoy your weekend!
Standing water on the dishes in the dishwasher is my pet peeve, too! What's up with these new dishwashers--my old one didn't do that!
Have a great weekend!
Fun answers! I could (and do!) watch Steel Magnolias over and over and over again. And Annie.
Why oh why do cups turn over in the dishwasher and fill with water?!? Grrrrr.....
I appreciated your stop today @ my 5QF post. I loved your response to pet peeves. It made me laugh. I'll be following you from this point forth. Incidentally, yes your daughter's sons would enjoy my book, The Tale of Ole Green Eyes. A friend's 2nd grade class loved my book and one of the first parents to buy was the mother of a little boy. I will check out your daughter's blog. Her story sounds deeply sad, but I have a feeling it's inspirating, too. God bless!
I think they're making toilet paper rolls smaller and smaller these days. I hear you, I'm forever changing them.
Oh Linda, that was a fun read! I hate running out of TP and that's why I have the supply in the cupboard right within reach of the throne! I really relate to your pet peeve of the dishes on the top rack not drying!! Would have loved to a decorator and enjoy HGTV too, but have to let hubby watch his CSI shows! And yes, he's my best friend too! Blessings for a great week-end!
Love your thoughts on the water/dishwasher. I hate it when a platic dish falls down on the heating element. I end up with melted plastic and that horrible smell throughout the house!
Reading your pet peeve made me laugh out loud! I always want to put a camera in our office bathroom because I swear someone steals the very last of the toliet paper leaving only one sheet and refusing to replace a roll. ARGH!!!
I don't have a dishwasher, but where I work we have one in the house, and I will never use it all because of that reason! I actually just think the water is gross! :D
I do find myself splurging on DVDs. I didn't even think of that one! It's crazy, I hate the thoughts of spending more than $40 on an entire outfit, but I will pay $40 for a DVD! {Well, the series ones anyways!!}
Thank you so much for the super sweet comment you left me! It made me smile!
-Many Smiles!!
I agree--water left in the dishwasher drives me nuts as well! And I'm also an HGTV addict. I think I must drive my more hubby crazy with my rearranging and little projects that I begin because of something I saw on some decorating show.
