The Greater Purpose of Blessings

Six Words Saturday: Be A Blessing To Someone Today!

Thought I'd link my post with SWS today. If you want to do the same, click on the button above.

This is something to think about....click on the link above and read the devotion titled: "The Greater Purpose of Blessings"...
It was really good, and I think we all should sing that little song...Make Me A Blessing...to someone today!

Absolutely agree! One of my favorite things to say is that I am in awe how God uses His blessings to work IN me, and yet THROUGH me and truly for HIS glory - not for my glory, the other person's glory, but for HIS! Thanks for this very important reminder!

I'm about to click over there, but just wanted to say I love Charles Stanley! I listen to him every morning because I found a Christian radio station that plays sermons and his comes on every morning after I drop Lily off. I just love how real he is! We have done several of Andy Stanley's studies in small group too. But I really like his Dad!

Isn't this the truth. Blessings we receive in any form should be an opportunity for us to say, "How can we share this with someone else?" Thanks for sharing this reminder for our lives.

I LOVE Charles Stanley. We get him several x's a wk on our tv, plus on our radio and I go to his website sometimes to hear what he has to say on certain subjects.

My dream has always been to some day go on Charles Stanley's Alaskan Cruise. Wouldn't that be great?

Thanks for sharing Linda, great devotional. Pastor Stanley is wonderful. We were blessed to visit his church a few times when we traveled to Atlanta. We also planned a trip around his churches Passion Play one year - it is fantastic. Last summer he came to our area and preached. We were fortunate to get our photo with him. It is one of my hubbys favorite shots hah
